Not so long ago I started to want
really badly to learn how to play the viola. There is something with the sound
of the strings, the delicate movement of the bow against them, the melancholy
of the melody. Maybe this new out loud dream was created because of something I
have been doing for a long time now.
I have a very strange hobby which is
finding the soundtracks of the movies I watch. I love to listen to the
background music that is made with very sweet, soft sounds. The music that
moves the spectator is the one that we barely notice at the moment.
I think it is pure art, the compositors
are geniuses and their work makes a big difference with the final project. I’m
not saying it is the most important thing in a movie, I’m just saying the film
wouldn’t be the same without the soundtrack.
Maybe I’m not using the correct word
for this entry, but when I tell someone “listen to the Pirates of the Caribbean
Movie Score” they look at me as if I were sent from someplace far away. But if
we want to get terminological and methodical then “Score” is the best noun for
everything I’m telling you.
Here are links to my favorite
melodies (if you have time to click the link you should do it)

(I love the second half of the song)
[Hans Zimmer is God!]
[Alexandre Desplat is also great,
and the songs are from my favorite books and movies]
[This composer has not created any
movie soundtrack but I love his work, I absolutely adore his melodies]
Anyway these types of symphonies
inspire me to create things by my own. Portray my feelings in a different and
more touching way. I hope this dream will eventually come true…
